Carp Expert Shrink Tube
The shrink tube is a special plastic tube that contracts when exposed to heat (such as a lighter flame or hot water). This is really useful for tying hair rigs: we slide a larger diameter tube onto the hook, and by heating it, we get the tightest, most secure knot protector. It is also outstanding when making special end rigs. Exceptionally effective hooking can be achieved with it, as the rig formed with shrink tube allows for securing the hook at the correct angle. Setups created this way almost always work perfectly, holding the bait securely, while with silicone tubes, it's common for them to slip or bend, leading to instances where the fish blows out the hook more frequently.
